the hatchery | spatial relationships

when given the task of organizing space for 'the hatchery' through "bubbles", i first decided the types of spaces that would be used, and then the most logical and functional location of each space--will it function well at street level, or would the 2nd level be more suitable? what would the advantages/disadvantages be for each space on each level?

the different types of spaces are

__performance: fine art, theatre, dance, music
__exhibition: fine art, photography, sculpture, graphics
__retail: "museum" store-fine art + accessories, coffee + art
__consultation: private, public
__studio: photography, cooking/nutrition, dance
__facilities: restroom(s)
__elevation: stairs, elevator
__egress: entrances, exits
